Grant

Ulysses S Grant was a general for the USA, mainly known for the civil war. In April of 1862, Grant was a part of one of the hardest battles in the West, at Shiloh. Lincoln made him General in Chief in March 1864. Finally the CSA's head general surendered to him at appomattox courthouse on April 9, 1865.

John Wilkes Booth was born in 1838, near Bel Air, Maryland.Lincoln was elected president on November 6, 1860. On April 14, 1865, Booth planned, and succeded in killing Lincoln.

Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, to Thomas Lincolnn and Nancy Hanks, in southeast Hardin County, Kentucky. He was elected as the 16th president after Lincoln won the Republican Party nomination in 1860.
